INTRO TO GLASS BEADMAKING: Learn the art of making glass beads from Milwaukee's only nationally exhibiting lampwork glass Artist, ROBERT JENNIK. Robert has over 13 years of hot glass experience with Moretti glass and has taught at the Bead & Button Show. Enjoy the quiet, meditative experience of melting glass with the Minor Bench Burner torch, using oxygen and propane, while you create lampwork beads of your own.

VIKING KNIT 101: Viking knit is a woven wire technique that pre dates conventional knitting. Students will create a flexible tube of silver and then turn it into a stunning bracelet. Finishing techniques will be demonstrated and various embellishment ideas will be discussed. FEE: $35.00

LARIAT NECKLACE STRINGING: You won’t get tied in knots with this class. Combine an assortment of different size and shape beads to make this versatile lariat. Wear your creative hat and experiment with different colors and textures to design a unique necklace. Students will learn basic stringing along with wrapped loops in this techniques packed class. BEZEL SETTING WITH BEADS: Learn this hot technique from an instructor with over 25 years of teaching expertise in the art of beadweaving. Students will learn everything required to bezel set a variety of shapes and sizes of Swarovski® stones. This is a great class whether you’re just starting out in this technique or if you’ve already beaded with Rivolis. The instructor provides 12 different patterns for a variety of Swarovski® stones, as well as instructions allowing you to branch out and bezel set just about anything.
