WE OFFER CLASSES IN THE ARTWORK OF BEADING. THE INSTRUCTORS AT KNOT JUST BEADS HAVE A COMBINED TEACHING EXPERIENCE OF OVER 40 YEARS. WE ARE DEDICATED TO THE ART OF BEADWORK AS WELL AS THE KNOWLEDGE OF TECHNIQUES USED. OUR INSTRUCTORS WILL USE THEIR EXPERTISE TO LEAD YOU THROUGH AN EXPLORATION OF BEADWORK THAT IS UNPARALLELED. YOU WILL LEAVE CLASS NOT ONLY WITH THE UNDERSTANDING OF HOW A TECHNIQUE PERTAINS TO THE PROJECT AT HAND, BUT YOU WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO TAKE THAT TECHNIQUE AND CREATE YOUR OWN WONDERFUL BEADED OBJECTS OF ART.

2 Minor Bench Burner (oxygen & propane) torches.
INTRO TO GLASS BEADMAKING: Learn the art of making glass beads from Milwaukee's only nationally exhibiting lampwork glass Artist, ROBERT JENNIK. Robert has over 14 years of hot glass experience with Moretti glass and has taught at the Bead & Button Show. Enjoy the quiet, meditative experience of melting glass with the Minor Bench Burner torch, while you create lampwork beads of your own.

IT’S A CABOCHON PARTY: Start the new year off with a bang!!! Come and party with Kim while exploring the world of beading with cabochons in this extensive class. Students will learn to bezel set and embellish mounted cabochons into a stunning brooch or pendant. Combine seed beads with Vintage glass cabs, semi-precious stone cabs or both. This class will inspire both the beginner and advanced beader. So come party with us, you never know what surprises Kim has up her sleeve.

CELLINI: Learn to manipulate gourd stitch to create a sculptural focal bead. Students will be amazed at how combining various sizes and colors of seed beads will transform a basic stitch. String your finished bead on chain or silk cord and you instantly have a finished necklace. FEE: $20.00

LET’S RIVET!: Back by popular demand! Learn how to make “cold connections” with metal. No soldering involved. Discover the fun of riveting layers of metal together to form interesting pieces of jewelry. Students will learn how to make rivets for both function and decorative purpose. Complete a pendant or pair of earrings. Familiarity with basic wirework techniques will be helpful.

CHARMED CHAIN: Charm bracelets are seen everywhere in the fashion world - how about making one of your own? Choose from the exciting variety of novelty chain, transforming it with wire, wrapped dangles, and textured 3D metal shapes. Learn how to cut, shape, and texture metal while perfecting wire wrapped loops. This is a great opportunity to try out some metal techniques without having to purchase all the tools.
